Digital Wallets, Payouts, and Cryptocurrency

Clipped integrates with the Solana blockchain. The following applies to earnings, bounties, and other crypto features. If you are new to cryptocurrency, read this section carefully and consider learning the basics of self-custody and wallet safety before moving funds.

Automatic wallet

When you use features that require on-chain payouts, we provision a Solana wallet for your account automatically. You do not need to install a separate app to receive payouts from the platform into that in-site wallet balance. That wallet is used to credit earnings and other eligible proceeds you receive through the Service.

Withdrawals to your own wallet

After funds are available in your account, you may withdraw them to an external Solana wallet using the wallet or payments area of your dashboard (for example, sending to an address from Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, Coinbase Wallet, or another Solana-compatible wallet you control).

You are solely responsible for entering a correct withdrawal address and for choosing a network and asset that match what our Service supports. Cryptocurrency transactions are typically irreversible.

When funds leave our platform

You are responsible for your payouts and withdrawals once a transaction has been submitted or once value has left our systems in your favor. After a payment or withdrawal has left our site or been broadcast to the blockchain, we are not responsible for ensuring it reaches a particular wallet, correcting a wrong address you provided, or recovering funds sent in error. Always double-check addresses and, if you are unsure, consider sending a small test amount first.

Self-custody, keys, and loss

Cryptocurrency is generally self-custodial: whoever controls the private keys controls the assets. Digital assets are not FDIC-insured or protected like bank deposits. If you lose your seed phrase, private keys, or device access, or if you are tricked into sharing credentials, funds may be permanently lost and there is often no way to recover them—including by us, wallet providers, or blockchain networks.

You agree to secure your accounts, use reputable wallet software, keep backups only in safe places, and follow industry-standard safety practices. We do not provide tax, legal, or investment advice; crypto prices are volatile; past performance does not guarantee future results.

Summary

We may facilitate automatic wallet creation and in-platform balances, but you are responsible for withdrawals, external wallets, address accuracy, key custody, and any losses after value leaves our Service or after you take self-custody—consistent with how blockchain networks and non-custodial crypto generally work.

  • • Automated and manual content review processes
  • • Community reporting and flagging systems
  • • Graduated enforcement (warnings, restrictions, bans)
  • • Appeals process for moderation decisions

Flagged Clips and Bounty Integrity

Clips may be flagged—by the community, bounty creators, or our systems—for review when something looks off (for example spam, policy violations, or metrics that do not reflect genuine engagement).

We reserve the right to reverse or withdraw approval for any clip, including clips that were already approved, if we find or reasonably suspect artificial, coordinated, or otherwise suspicious growth activity (such as view manipulation, bot traffic, or other abuse meant to inflate stats or payouts). We may adjust eligibility, earnings, or payouts accordingly to protect creators, streamers, and the platform.

Nothing in these Terms guarantees that an approved clip will remain approved or paid if it is later found to violate this policy or our other rules.

Account Actions

We may take various actions against accounts that violate our Terms, including warnings, temporary restrictions, permanent bans, or legal action when appropriate.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
