Frequently Asked Questions
What is Clipped?
Clipped is a platform for discovering and sharing the best clips from Kick, Twitch, and other streaming platforms. We aggregate exciting moments from streams and make them easily discoverable.
How do I submit a clip?
You can easily upload clips using our add-clip page! New clippers need their first clip approved by our team, but once approved, all future clips are automatically accepted. We also offer an auto-ingest feature that automatically pulls clips from your X account, so you don't need to manually upload every time.
Can I become a clipper?
Absolutely! Anyone can become a clipper by uploading their first clip through our add-clip page. Your first clip will need approval from our team, but once approved, you can upload clips freely. You can also enable auto-ingest to have clips automatically pulled from your X account.
How do I get my stream featured?
If you're a streamer on Kick, Twitch, or other platforms and want your content featured, connect with us on X. We're building partnerships with streamers to showcase the best content.
What is the auto-ingest feature?
Auto-ingest automatically monitors your X account and pulls clips directly into our platform, so you don't need to manually upload each clip. This feature is available to approved clippers and saves significant time for active content creators.
How can I report inappropriate content?
Content moderation is important to us. Report any inappropriate content through X, and our team will review it promptly.
What happens if a clip is flagged or has suspicious view growth?
Clips can be flagged for review by the community, creators, or our systems. We reserve the right to reverse or withdraw approval for any clip—including one that was already approved—if we find or reasonably suspect artificial or coordinated activity meant to inflate views or payouts. That helps keep bounties fair for all clippers. See our Terms of Service for the full policy.
Do I get a crypto wallet automatically?
Yes. For Solana payouts, we create a Solana wallet for your account automatically—you use it to receive earnings from the platform into your in-site balance. You do not need to install anything just to get paid on the site. When you are ready to move money out, use the Wallet (or payments) section of your dashboard to send funds to an external Solana wallet you control.
How do I withdraw to Phantom, Solflare, Coinbase Wallet, or another wallet?
Open your dashboard and go to the wallet or payments area. There you can withdraw your available balance to a Solana address from a wallet app you trust—such as Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, or Coinbase Wallet (Solana). Paste the receive address carefully, confirm the asset and network match what we support, and consider sending a small test transaction first if you are new to crypto.
Are you responsible for my funds after I withdraw?
No. Once a withdrawal has been sent or value has left our systems, you are responsible for that transaction. We cannot reverse mistaken transfers to a wrong address or recover funds that have moved to the blockchain or to a wallet we do not control. Always verify the destination address before you confirm.
What if I lose my seed phrase or send crypto to the wrong place?
Cryptocurrency is generally self-custodial: if you lose private keys or seed phrases, or send assets to the wrong address, there is often no recovery—by us, by wallet apps, or by the network. That is standard across the industry. Keep backups secure, never share your seed phrase, and double-check every address. Our Terms of Service explain wallets, payouts, and risks in full.
I'm new to crypto. What should I know?
Crypto prices can change quickly; transactions are often irreversible; and digital assets are not like bank deposits (for example, they are typically not government-insured). Use official wallet apps, start with small amounts while learning, verify addresses character-by-character, and read our Terms of Service section on digital wallets and cryptocurrency. Nothing we say is financial or legal advice.
